Istanbul & Bodrum Cruise – Blue Voyage
Day 1 (Thursday) / Istanbul – Arrival
Arrival at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Meet by Navigatour representative and transfer to the hotel. Full day tour of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and unique with its six minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet I. Next we will have a look at the Hippodrome of Constantinople where horse and chariot races used to take place. Then visit the St. Sophia museum which is one of the greatest religious and architectural marvels of all times. Finally the famous Topkapi Palace museum will be visited, which was built as the home of the Ottoman sultans where lunch will be served. After lunch the World Famous Imperial Jewellery and Chinese Porcelain sections will be visited. Last stop will be Grand Bazaar. Then we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.( L )
Day 2 (Friday) / Istanbul
Departure from the hotel for a visit to the Spice Bazaar where we will experience the smells of cinnamon, cloves and thyme rising from every store, the same smells that filled the air over 400 years ago. We then embark on a scenic tour of the Bosphorus, the natural waterway that divides Asia from Europe, passing palaces, castles, palatial homes, and the two magnificent suspension bridges. Lunch at a fish restaurant.
Before we cross the Bosphorus Bridge, we visit the majestic Dolmabahçe Palace, residence of latter-day Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, with over 370 rooms and a 4.5 ton glass chandelier. On the Asian side we visit Camlica Hill which is one of the highest points in Istanbul, offering breathtaking views in all directions. There will also be a chance for shopping at Beylerbeyi, a typical Istanbul suburb. Return to hotel and overnight.( B,L )
Day 3 (Saturday) / Istanbul – Bodrum
Departure in the morning. Flight to Bodrum . Transfer to the Bodrum Harbor Embarkation to the yacht and welcome cocktail . Briefing about the yacht and the cruise program. Free time in Bodrum. Dinner and overnight. ( B,L,D)
Day 4 (Sunday) / Oraklar Island – Molla Ibrahim Bay
Departure from the harbor after breakfast. First stop in Oraklar island. After lunch sailing to Molla Ibrahim bay and overnight. ( B,L,D)
Day 5 (Monday) / Seven Islands – Kufre Bay
Sailing to Seven Islands. Opportunity of swimming, snorkeling and walking in the forest. Visiting different islands among Seven Islands. Overnight.( B,L,D)
Day 6 (Tuesday) / Longoz – English Harbor
After breakfast, cruising to Longoz Bay and lunch here. In the afternoon departure for English harbor. This name is given to the cove, because of English torpedo boats who hid here during the Second World War. Overnight. ( B,L,D)
Day 7 (Wednesday) / Cleopatra Island – Karacasogut Village
Leaving early English Harbor and reaching to the Cleopatra island. It is believed that the sand of the island was brought from the river Nile, in Egypt by Marcus Antonious who wanted to impress the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. By late afternoon sailing to Karacasogut and overnight. Optional drive to Marmaris Town by a minibus or taxi.( B,L,D)
Day 8 (Thursday) / Balli Su Bay – Tuzla Bay
After breakfast, leaving Karacasogut and sailing to Ballisu. Endless opportunity for swimming and snorkeling. By late afternoon sailing To Tuzla Bay, dinner and overnight.( B,L,D)
Day 9 (Friday) / Cokertme – Alakisla – Black Island – Bodrum
Departure after breakfast and arrive to Cokertme Bay, after lunch sailing to Alakisla Bay. By late afternoon you will reach to Black Island which is a volcanic island and has a hot spring. Cruise back to Bodrum. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.( B,L,D)
Day 1 0 (Saturday) / Bodrum – Disembarkation – Istanbul
After breakfast, disembarkation. Flight to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel and free time.( B )
Day 11 (Sunday) / Istanbul
Free until transfer time. Transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for flight home.( B )
