Gallipoli – Troy (2 days / 1 night)
Day 1 Istanbul – Gallipoli
We will head for Gallipoli straight after breakfast, traveling through scenic countryside. Arriving at the legendary WW1 front, we will see
the Allied Cemeteries and the Anzac Cove. Our last stop will be at the fascinating Museum of Canakkale containing many momentous
of the Great War. Overnight at Canakkale. (L,D)
Day 2 Gallipoli – Troy – Istanbul
Taking the highway south we will arrive at Troy, Referred to in Homer’s “Iliad” and “Odyssey”, Troy has in fact nine cities superimposed
one upon another. Troy VI pertains to the famous Trojan War of Homer where the legendary heroes included Agamemnon, Archilles,
Ulysses and Nestor on the Greek side and Priam, Hector and Paris on the Trojan side.
After visit of Troy and having lunch, return to Istanbul after lunch.(B,L)
